(Photo by Yu Ruowang/CHINA NEWS SERVICE/VCG via Getty Images)WASHINGTON, DC – The United States should keep an eye on China’s rapidly growing naval forces, a part of which China has hidden as civilian fishing boats, a prominent U.S. expert on China warned at an event on Wednesday.

China’s regular navy already has more ships than the U.S. — a little more than 300 to the U.S.’s 277. But Andrew Erickson, a professor at the U.S. Naval War College’s China Maritime Studies Institute, warns that it is China’s informal sea forces that need close watching.

At an event hosted by the Jamestown Foundation, Erickson described the three elements of China’s maritime forces: the navy, coast guard, and a maritime militia – or, as he said a friend’s five-year-old son acutely described it: “a regular navy, the police navy, and the sneaky navy.”…. read more

The Future US Military: a Giant, Armed Nervous System

Defense One: Leaders of the Air Force, Navy, Army and Marines are converging on a vision of the future military: connecting every asset on the global battlefield.

That means everything from F-35 jets overhead to the destroyers on the sea to the armor of the tanks crawling over the land to the multiplying devices in every troops’ pockets. Every weapon, vehicle, and device connected, sharing data, constantly aware of the presence and state of every other node in a truly global network. The effect: an unimaginably large cephapoloidal nervous system armed with the world’s most sophisticated weaponry.

In recent months, the Joint Chiefs of Staff put together the newest version of their National Military Strategy. Unlike previous ones, it is classified. But executing a strategy requiring buy-in and collaboration across the services. In recent months, at least two of the service chiefs talked openly about the strikingly similar direction that they are taking their forces…. read more

Opinion by Bible Prophecy Tracker: Isn’t it interesting that the news keep pointing towards the apocalyptic books of Daniel and Revelation?

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. Daniel 11:40

The army of Antichrist will be one of four power blocks in the world at the end of this age. His power will be so great that Daniel 7:23 says he will trample and break the world into pieces. John tells us that his power comes directly from the pit of hell, Revelation 13.

The nagging question is, how could all this happen with a superpower with the strength of the US military? The only plausible answer I can come up with is that the United States will somehow become a part of the Beast Empire.

King of the North: re-formed Syria, Iraq, Russia, Iran, Turkey (Ezek. 38:1-6)
King of the South: Egypt, North Africa, (Dan. 11:36-39, 11:40)
Western Alliance, Beast Army of Antichrist – revived Roman Empire (Psalm 2:1-4, Rev.16:14, 19:19)
Kings of the East – China South East Asia (Rev. 16:12)
Two thousand years ago John wrote this:

1 John 2:18 “Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.”

ATHENA laser weapon ‘kills’ 5 ‘outlaws’

Fox Firepower: Allison Barrie with the latest on Lockheed Martin's laser weapon system, ATHENA, which performed exceptionally well during recent testing.Silent, invisible, deadly. The powerful ATHENA laser weapon can destroy enemy threats within seconds. It just destroyed five Outlaw drones.

For the United States, thanks to pioneering efforts of American companies like Lockheed Martin and the military, laser weapons are no longer the stuff of Star Wars and Star Trek.

In near-term future battles, the U.S. military can choose to bring laser weapons mounted on vehicles, vessels, and more, to war. By comparison, the weapons of any enemy will look like bows and arrows.

ATHENA, (Advanced Test High Energy Asset), is one of the most exciting of these new American laser weapons. During recent testing with the U.S. Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command at the Army’s White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, the 30-kilowatt weapon slayed five Outlaw drones. Not toy hobby sized drones, but drones with nearly 11 foot wingspans…. read more

BHO Decimated Our Military Might: Is It A Coincidence That Now We Are Sitting Ducks?

It was clear from the start that Barack Obama was no friend to America. There were countless ways that this ‘enemy from within‘ was determined to weaken America and make her more vulnerable than ever before in this hostile and most dangerous world.

From downsizing our Military, to firing scores of Generals who refused to be “yes” men to BHO, to dealing with the Iranian regime and signing a treaty with them which would put not only America at great risk, but Israel as well. This pleased Obama greatly. There was only one country he hated more than America, and the was Israel.

Although President Trump plans to rebuild and bolster our Military and weaponry, this is not a task which can be accomplished overnight.  And it seems that America needs nothing short of a miracle at the present time.  We have never been this close to an all out Nuclear war since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962…. read more

North Korea at nuclear threshold. What about Iran?

read more …. US intelligence also estimates from recent tests that North Korea is likely to be able to launch intercontinental ballistic missiles by next year So America now faces is a ruthless, unpredictable dictator who will soon be capable of of launching a nuclear attack on its mainland. This threat confronts President Trump with a scary test..

But while all eyes were fixed on the burly dictator in Pyongyang, hardly anyone noticed that North Korea and Iran this week signed a series of new military accords which are no less dangerous to world peace.

Parliament Speaker Kim Yong Nam, who is rated No. 2 in the Kim regime, ended a 10-day visit to Tehran on Monday, Aug. 7 by inking the new agreements. His official errand in Tehran was to represent Pyongyang at the swearing-in ceremony of President Hassan Rouhani and inaugurate the new North Korean embassy building in the Iranian capital. But he came with a large delegation of North Korean military officers who spent hours in conference with the heads of Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, as well as the leaders of the powerful Revolutionary Guards.

The precise details of Pyongyang’s continued contribution to the upgrade of Iran’s technology in those areas under close wraps. But for Kim, the important thing is Iran’s multibillion dollar investment in the partnership in return in return for allowing Iranian engineers and scientists to work alongside North Korean experts in the two fields.

The irony is that, while the Security Council unanimouslyy approved tough economic sanctions estimated to cost North Korea an estimated $1bn in state revenue – for which President Trump praised the world powers – Kim has managed to lay his hands on enough cash from Tehran to keep his nuclear and missile programs moving apace. Some of that cash comes from the sanction relief the Americans and Europeans granted Iran for signing its 2015 nuclear deal.

US plans ‘global’ drills to counter Russia & other 'complex threats' – top US military officialThe US military is shifting towards a “more global” exercise program in preparation to deter what they term a “more assertive Russia” as well as countering other complex threats, a senior officer commanding the US forces in Europe has said.

Trump Says No To Transgenders In Our Military

WASHINGTON – As the backlash continues over President Donald Trump’s announcement of a ban on transgenders serving in the military, the Pentagon is for the most part remaining silent on the matter.

“We refer all questions about the president’s statements to the White House. We will continue to work closely with the White House to address the new guidance provided by the commander in chief on transgender individuals serving the military,” a Pentagon spokesperson told CBN News.

The news comes after the president took to Twitter Wednesday morning, saying, “After consultation with my generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. military.”… read more
