Lieberman warns Syria, Iran against further aggression on Israel; Announces budget increase for “fortifying” Israel’s north; Refers to Russia-Israel military coordination as “effective relationship”.
Israel Defense Minister warned Syria and Iran against any further provocation with the State of Israel, stating “It’s not time to bark, it’s time to bite and we’ll bite hard. I hope we won’t have to do it.”
Lieberman toured Israel’s northern city of Kiryat Shmona on Tuesday morning, reporting that Israel’s Finance Ministry will invest over $14 million to “fortifying the home front here in the north,” including improving bomb shelters for northern cities amidst imminent threats from Syria and Lebanon…. more
Israel has boosted its air defense in the North following a significant confrontation between the Jewish state, Syria and Iran that led to the loss of an F-16i fighter jet.
While the army refused to comment on the reports, witnesses reported seeing a convoy of missile-defense batteries heading north near the Israeli-Arab city of Baka al-Gharbiya. Other witnesses posted photos of several trucks carrying the batteries on central highways in northern Israel.
Israel’s air defenses currently include the Iron Dome, designed to shoot down short-range rockets; the Arrow system, which intercepts ballistic missiles outside of the Earth’s atmosphere; and the David’s Sling missile-defense system, which is designed to intercept tactical ballistic missiles, medium- to long-range rockets and cruise missiles fired from ranges of between 40 km to 300 km.
Israel also has Patriot-missile batteries stationed in the North and has used them to intercept drones infiltrating into Israeli airspace from Syria. In September, an Iranian-built unmanned aerial vehicle breached the “Bravo line” that marks the Syrian demilitarized zone, and was intercepted by an Israeli Patriot anti-ballistic missile launched from a station near the northern city of Safed…. more
JERUSALEM, Israel – Israel shot down an Iranian drone over Israeli territory early Saturday morning, sparking a series of events that many feared could lead to an escalation in hostilities.
In response to the drone penetration, Israel targeted a number of Iranian military sites in Syria, including its “aircraft’s launch components in Syrian territory,” the IDF said.
“The IDF sees the Iranian attack and the Syrian response as a severe and irregular violation of Israeli sovereignty,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement following the initial incident.
During the attack, Syria fired multiple anti-aircraft missiles at IAF aircraft…. more
Strikes reported on research center overnight; Syrian Army claims it destroyed most of missiles fired; Syrian Army: This blatant aggression comes in the context of desperate attempts to raise the morale of terrorist organizations that are falling apart.

The Syrian Army reported Israeli jets striking the research center from Lebanese airspace. As with majority of covert operations in Syria, it claimed they intercepted majority of the rockets. It confirmed the strikes stating “This morning, Israeli warplanes fired several missiles from Lebanese airspace on one of our military positions in the Damascus countryside. Our air defense systems blocked them and destroyed most of them.”… more
Contrary to Moscow’s promises, the Russian military is not pulling out of Syria, but adding four more air bases (one shared with Iran) and 6,000 more troops.
On Dec. 11, 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, announced that the Russian military was to withdraw from Syria to home bases. DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources report that the reverse happened. A small number of units were indeed sent home, but they were sooner replaced, and instead of two bases – the air facility at Hmeimim and the naval installation at Tartus – four more Syrian air bases are being reconstructed and adapted for the use of the Russian air force.
The attached map illustrates their locations:
- The Tiyas Military Airbase (also known as T-4) in the Homs Governorate west of Palmyra, is the largest in Syria. The Russians are massively converting it into their main center of aerial operations in central Syria. Tyas will also provide backup as needed for Khmeimim, if drone, missile and mortar attacks recur.
- Palmyra (or Tadmor) Airport provides air support for operations in eastern Syria including the Deir ez-Zour province. Moscow has agreed to share it with Iran. The Revolutionary Guards Al Qods chief Gen. Qassem Soleimani is planning to make Palmyra the main assembly center for the transfer of pro-Iranian Iraqi Shiite militias from southern Iraq to Syria.
- From Hama Military Airport west of Hama, the Russians will exercise control from the air of central Syria and the northern and central highways to Damascus. Still more importantly, this airport’s location places it just 125km as the crow flies (173km by road) from Russia’s Tartus naval base on the Mediterranean coast.
- Shayrat, at Homs (which became notorious as the target of a massive US Tomahawk attack last year) is the main landing site for air transports which bring the Russian and Iranian forces troop reinforcements, weapons and spare parts…. more

Turkey threatens to ax diplomatic ties with Israel if US recognizes Jerusalem as capital
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital would be a “red line” for Muslims. He also warned such a step would force Ankara to cut diplomatic ties with the Jewish state. “This could go as far as cutting our diplomatic relations with Israel. You cannot take such a step,” Erdogan told a parliamentary group meeting of his ruling Justice and Development Party. The Turkish president also said he would call for a meeting with the Organization for Islamic Cooperation to oppose any move recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. He said the measure would not only be a violation of international law, but also “a big blow to the conscience of the humanity.”.. more

The breaking news tonight was that America’s Military might have been so weakened, that if we were attacked by Russia or China, we would most likely not win. America – the most powerful of all nations has been downgraded from Super Power to Regional Power at best.
Does this surprise you? It shouldn’t. During the years of Obama’s reign over America, he systematically weakened our military man power and weaponry. Was this in an attempt to balance a budget? NO. This was a calculated move on Obama’s part to destroy the country which he detested; the country that he led as Commander and Chief. And the Leftists loved him. They hate America too.
Do you remember when Obama fired a long list of Generals? These were fine men – Patriots and devoted to their country. But to Obama, these men had to go. They were not “yes” men. They knew full well what this Marxist/Socialist president was doing to America. Behind the scenes they were voicing their concerns. Obama had no recourse except to fire these men who had taken oaths to protect America…. read more
This article is a good read and Obama did weaken our military for a purpose, read our article on Did Obama Make America Weak On Purpose. War and Rumors of war are all around us and the world now.
Who Is the Foundation Of All Wars —- Jesus is saying there are going to be wars. They will be frightening and distressing but you don’t be frightened. The wars of man must come but in themselves, they will not accomplish the end goal of God. They are merely stages leading up to the closure of war. Do not allow fear to dominate but be aware of what is happening and trust in Christ…..
The bible tells us that all nations will be against Israel. Zechariah 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who try to lift it will injure themselves severely when all the nations of the earth gather against her.
Right now America is for Israel, thanks to President Trump, and will do anything possible to protect her. If you read the article you can see that our country is not able at this time to fight two wars. Now do we believe this entirely, No. We are for Israel and the bible says “I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:3“, therefore we do not know what will happen if we go to war, only God knows.
At some point America will no longer be for Israel and we will no longer be a super power. Right now America is getting a reprieve because of God who placed President Trump as our leader and who is for Jesus. God placed him there for a specific reason. As a believer in Jesus the Christ we still have freedom here to worship our Lord and Savior.
This is our opinion only – for America to not defend Israel then we would be at war with someone else who is coming after us, the rapture occurred or America has fallen and there is a leader who Hates God. All we know is that war is calling and it is getting closer.
We have Damascus that will be a ruined heap, we have countries right now aligning up in scripture concerning the Gog & Magog war, and we have some nations against Israel. Keep your eyes on Jesus and pray for people to see the Truth, God Bless!
