War is on the Horizon! How close is Christ Return?

There is once again rumors of war because North Korea is spreading the rumor. They are threatening nuclear missiles and has countries on alert. So what does this have to do with Christ return? There are steps for Christ return and even though we have had many wars the other verses did not take place until now. Wars are the beginning of the birth pains and as it gets closer to Christ return the wars will become more frequent and intense. Let’s take a look at Matthew 24:3-15

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Has this happened – YES
Jesus is warning that man will deceive us and we are to take heed that this will not happen.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Has this happened – YES
There have been many people who come and say I am Jesus or Christ.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Has this happened – YES
We have had wars and many of them and we are still having wars. Jesus tells us to not be afraid.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Has this happened – YES
Nations against nations – Right now North Korea against U.S., South Korea, Japan and others.
Kingdom against Kingdom is Civil War – for example – North against the South in United States.
Famines are everywhere and getting worse. Pestilence is on the rise, earthquakes are happening all over and daily.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Has this happened -YES
Persecution is occurring over the world. Many are dying for believing in Jesus. No other religion has this much persecution except for Christianity.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Is this happening right now – YES

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Has this happened – YES
There are many pastors and teachers who water down the word of God and focus on me sermons.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Has this happened – YES
This is talking about the church (believers) will become cold. Why? Because of lawlessness. An example of this would be Christians supporting things that absolutely go against the Word of God. Christians no longer express the characteristics of God’s True Love.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Has this happened – YES
We now have T.V., Internet, Phone and technology that can reach someone within minutes or hours.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Has this happened – NO
The tribulation is not here yet and the Antichrist has not been revealed.

We are so close to the tribulation. Look at the verses above and see the steps to Christ return. The next step is the Tribulation and the revealing of the Antichrist. Can you see how close we are?

Lord we pray for those who are in Yemen. Lord may they cry out to you and we pray you hear their cry’s Lord. Provide their needs and we pray for rain upon Yemen. We pray their hearts know you are God. Help the children Lord. In Jesus name Amen!

“It is well to pray to God as to one who deserves to be praised, for then we plead in a happy and confident manner. If I feel that I can and do bless the Lord for all his past goodness, I am bold to ask great things of him.” (Spurgeon)

2 Samuel 22:7 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

In my distress I called upon the LORD: The enemy of our soul wants us to believe that we can’t call upon the LORD in our distress – as if we had to be right with God and sitting peacefully in a prayer chapel to pray rightly. David knew that God hears our distress signals.

He heard my voice: For David it was that simple. He cried out to God, and God heard. David also knew that God could not hear the distress of His people without taking action on their behalf. (by Guzik Commentary Bible)

The U.S. government has not specified where the carrier strike group is as it approaches the area. U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Saturday it would arrive “within days,” but gave no other details.

North Korea remained defiant.

“Our revolutionary forces are combat-ready to sink a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier with a single strike,” the Rodong Sinmun, the newspaper of the North’s ruling Workers’ Party, said in a commentary…. read more
