U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley has confirmed that going forward, the U.S. will pay no more than 25 percent of its peacekeeping costs.

Associated Press reported she told a Security Council meeting this week, “Peacekeeping is a shared responsibility. All of us have a role to play, and all of us must step up.”

The international group assessed the United States 28.5 percent of the $7.3 billion spending this year.

But that broke the 25 percent limit established in U.S. law and Haley informed the government officials in the U.N. that’s the cap, starting with this year’s peacekeeping budget.

But still, the second largest contributor, China, is told to pay only a bit over 10 percent…. more

New Push For EU Superstate Army

News ImageIt’s called PESCO. It stands for the Permanent Structured Co-Operation and is a treaty among EU nations providing a framework for mutual defense that many EU superstate proponents have been pushing for a long time.

Technically, it is not a European army, per se, but many consider it a necessary first step as it requires each country to strengthen its military assets and defense capabilities and cooperate if needed.

There are plans for enhanced joint training, streamlining of cross-border military operations, and medical operations. It establishes a defense fund for procurement of weapons and the development of “rapid reaction forces,” armed with tanks and drones.

The initial funding will include a 5 billion-euro ($5.83 billion dollar) defense fund. PESCO allows for integrated armed forces, a combined pool of Defense spending, and the creation of a joint command headquarters. European Union Foreign Affairs Chief Federica Mogherini said the pact will focus not just on military cooperation, but also on cyber-security…. more

UNESCO Produces Lion Idol, Consort of Goddess of Adultery

A UNESCO funded project reproduced a statue of a lion, the third project of its kind the organization has supported, leading at least one rabbi to conclude that the real goal of the political organization is to promote an agenda that has always stood as Israel’s nemesis: idolatry.

The Lion of al-Lāt is an ancient statue, almost 11 feet tall and weighing 15 tons, which stood in the temple of pre-Islamic goddess al-Lāt in Palmyra, Syria. In June 2015 the statue was severely damaged, along with many other artifacts at the historic site, by the Islamic State (ISIS) after it captured Palmyra. The statue was eventually removed to the National Museum of Damascus where it underwent reconstruction… more

Trump to Cut Aid to UN Members Backing Anti-Israel Jerusalem Resolution

Breitbart: NEW YORK — President Donald Trump on Wednesday threatened to cut off financial aid to countries that vote to pass a United Nations General Assembly resolution seeking to rescind his historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care,” Trump told reporters at the White House. more …

Opinion by BIBLE PROPHECY TRACKER: Way to go Mr. President! Under the previous administration a nation who voted against the US and Israel would receive F-16 fighter jets.

And Nikki Haley tweets the US is taking names:

At the UN we’re always asked to do more & give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American people, about where to locate OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us. On Thursday there’ll be a vote criticizing our choice. The US will be taking names.

Later today the UN General Assembly at a rare emergency session will take a non-binding but symbolic vote seeking to reaffirm Jerusalem’s status as unresolved. Turkey and Yemen are sponsors of the draft.

And the King of the Universe will also take names under the Abrahamic Covenant Genesis 12:3.
