While parts of the base remain top secret, military chiefs have offered a glimpse at the interior of the building.

It comes as part of Russia’s largest Arctic military push since the fall of the Soviet Union and as Moscow moves to lay claim to the region’s huge oil and gas reserves – believe to be worth as much as £23trillion…. read more

MOSCOW SURPRISINGLY SAYS WEST JERUSALEM IS ISRAEL’S CAPITAL

THE TIES between Russian President Vladimir Putin (left) and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have Russia recognizes west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a surprise announcement on Thursday.

The announcement comes as US President Donald Trump’s administration is agonizing over whether to move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a move that would constitute recognizing west Jerusalem as the country’s capital. No other country in the world recognizes any part of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Russia’s Putin attacks “groundless” accusations on Syria gas incident

The statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry reads, “We reaffirm our commitment to the UN-approved principles for a Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which include the status of east Jerusalem as the capital of the future Palestinian state. At the same time, we must state that in this context we view west Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

This is a sharp shift in Russian policy, which until now has formally held that Jerusalem should eventually be under a permanent international regime. The statement appears in English on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website…. read more

lhwm opinion: The Temple Mount is in East Jerusalem where Christ will reign and rule the earth.

Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Did Putin Just threaten Israel with a ‘”Red-line”?

There is an interesting article coming out of Russia this morning that really leaped out at me that I believe is definitely worth sharing. Are Putin and Russia warning Israel of future consequences regarding heir stance with Syria? Is this yet another small warning of the future “Prophetic Wars” that are yet to come that will directly involve Israel, Syria and Russia. The following is an excerpt from RT News:

What is Israel’s real role in the war in Syria? Can we really believe that it doesn’t want to get involved in the conflict? And how much longer can Israel be Washington’s strong arm in the region while sustaining good relations with Russia?… [read more]

How Russia Is Turning Syria into a Major Naval Base for Nuclear Warships (and Israel Is Worried)

The National Interest: During the 1970s, the Syrian naval base of Tartus became a major port servicing warships of the Soviet Union’s Fifth Mediterranean squadron.

The Soviet Union is gone, and so is Syria as a unified nation. But Russia is back, and it’s building up Tartus again as a naval base that can handle Russia’s largest nuclear-powered ships.

Already, Israel says the Tartus base is affecting its naval operations. U.S. and NATO operations could be next. [read more]

Opinion by BIBLE PROPHECY TRACKER: I asked my wife (Editor) to look at this headline and to quickly tell me of what this headline reminds her? Keep in mind that prophecy is not her passion, but Bible study is, to further her relationship with Jesus Christ, which is why she is in charge of the Sunday Posts.

Her reaction to the headline was “hooks in the jaw”.

“Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.” Ezekiel 38:1-4

For reasons not explained by the prophet, Gog, the Russian prince, will be reluctant to lead a massive assault on Israel.

Vladimir Putin has a problem. Despite having an 80-85% approval rating at home, 70% of the Russian economy is still dependent on oil, and with the drop in prices from $109 in 2013 to today’s price of $48-50 per barrel, the Russian oil giant Gazprom needs to keep all its customers, or risk a depression.

One of Russia’s biggest natural gas customers is Europe, who is in negotiations to import Israeli natural gas expected to be available by 2019.

Exacerbating Russia’s problem is that Israel is possibly sitting on more oil than Saudi Arabia which would leave Putin with no alternative (hook in his jaw) but to take Israel’s vast wealth.

Ezekiel called it plunder (Ez. 38:13).
