2 Corinthians 4:17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
Affliction and suffering comes to every true believer and it is not joyous at the time. God does not allow His children to suffer without a purpose. What is the purpose, to draw us nearer to Jesus, prepare us to come home, and to glorify God. I just recently experienced this in my life and I now know it is hard and challenging. It effected me not only physically but I was shown the enormous amount of lies that were running through my head to keep me from the Truth (Jesus). The lies fight against the truth which causes stress and worry. During this time I had two choices, continue to believe my lies or choose to pursue and believe the Truth. It is a struggle to decipher what is Truth and what is a lie because the lies are so deeply embedded. In order for me to know the truth I do the following, I pray, read the word of God daily, and listen to sermons at night while I sleep. I stay in constant prayer and I have someone to help me with the Word of God. If what I am believing is a lie then I pray to have that lie eradicated…. read more
The world is becoming a darker and darker place. It seems as if evil is winning and destroying all since of right and wrong. There is fear, anger, and lack of understanding as to why. The only place to find the answers is in the bible. But most of the world is now doing all it can to eradicate God so most people will not find the truth. People will desperately look to find safety, peace and security, without considering the cost.
Where is the peace you are desperately searching for? We give our life into someone’s hand, who’s hand have you given your life to? The world will find peace but it will vanish after 3 1/2 years because it will be a false peace. For believers, our peace is in Christ Jesus, our salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and knowing this is not our home. Our hope and security is in our heavenly Father Who loves us with a great and immense love. Know who you belong to and seek true peace and safety…. read more

3 The Philistines were standing on one hill, and the Israelites were standing on another hill with a ravine between them. 4 Then a champion named Goliath, from Gath, came out from the Philistine camp. He was nine feet, nine inches tall 5 and wore a bronze helmet and bronze scale armor that weighed 125 pounds. 6 There was bronze armor on his shins, and a bronze sword was slung between his shoulders. 7 His spear shaft was like a weaver’s beam, and the iron point of his spear weighed 15 pounds. In addition, a shield-bearer was walking in front of him.… read more
Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, about the things of the Spirit.
As a professing believer I thought I was living fully for God, however I did not truly understand what living in death and living for life meant until recently. So the thought of believing I was living for Him fully was a lie, but God and His mercy and loving-kindness is saving me from myself of destruction and is renewing me. The Holy Spirit placed in my heart to pray for freedom from living in torment of fear, worry and anxiety which has been apart of me for over 40 years. I began to pray what He placed in my heart.
As a believer I am not to be afraid! So as a confessing Christian I have a problem. I am not walking in the light I am walking in death. While praying what He placed in my heart changes began to occur that NO ONE CAN SOLVE OR HELP ME WITH. This is between me and God!… read more

For me personally I believe that the bible is the infallible Word of God but what is surprising is, those in the church who do not believe the bible was inspired by God – the Holy Spirit. God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). God’s word will stand forever (Isaiah 40:18, Matthew 24:35).
2 Timothy 3:16 AMP All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately-behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the [a]man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work…. read more
John 14:15 NKJV If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
John 16:12 NKJV I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.
When we receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ we sealed by and receive the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit:
- Guides into all truth
- Will not speak on His own but will only tell what He hears
- Gives glory to Christ Jesus
I, as a believer, have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16, Isaiah 40:13) and I desire that to be my guide. My surrender to the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to guide me in all truth is the step to take… read more
Isaiah 55:8 KJV For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
Thank you Lord Jesus that your way of life is not mine and your thoughts are not mine, because mine have been and still are messed up.
My thoughts were so messed up at one time it seemed like I was physically drowning and could not breathe. The older I became, the way I was taught to think which influenced all my choices in life got me into trouble. Jesus saved me and I was a new person in Christ but my old thoughts were still primary and each decision went from bad to worse. I needed my mind renewed so it no longer was conformed to the world. I received a new heart through salvation but my mind, phew it stunk! My thoughts needed to change so my life could change…. read more
