JERUSALEM, Israel – Paraguay’s President Horacio Cartes arrived in Israel Sunday evening to dedicate his country’s new embassy in Jerusalem Monday.
Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan was on hand at the airport to welcome Cartes as he deplaned, thanking him on behalf of the nation for the decision.
“I thank you on behalf of the State of Israel for your decision to move the Paraguay Embassy to Jerusalem. The decision demonstrates the depth of our ties and constitutes further strengthening of our sovereignty in Jerusalem,” YNet quoted Erdan’s welcoming statement… more
The Trump administration is announcing new regulations today to partially defund Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses of tens of millions of tax dollars. This is the second time Trump has taken steps to revoke taxpayer funding for the nation’s biggest abortion business — after yanking taxpayer from from International Planned Parenthood during his first week in office.
The United States spends about $260 million in Title X funds annually for family planning for low-income individuals, and Planned Parenthood is a huge recipient of those funds, as much as $50-$60 million annually.
But under the proposed “Protect Life Rule,” Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses would not receive any of those tax dollars unless they completely separate their abortion business from their taxpayer-funded services, The Washington Examiner reports. That would mean housing their family planning services elsewhere — potentially in separate buildings and coordinated by separate staff and organizations from its abortion enterprise… more
We DO NOT SUPPORT the killing of a baby. Once again people are making this about something else than what it really is. This war has been going on for a long time.
Lord there are many that are standing with you and believe this is a sin against you Lord. We pray you hear our cry’s and hear our prayers to take down those who continually murder your innocent children, Amen!
It can be difficult to remember the security of our eternity when we are facing the ugly realities of a sinful and fallen world. In a time when human life is devalued, when virtue is weakened or even shamed, and when our God is continually shoved out of a culture that constantly claims to esteem love above everything else, it is tempting for God’s people to fall into discouragement and even despair.
We are feeling the pains the world felt during the 400 years between the Old and New Testaments when God’s guiding voice seemed silent. We’re seeing the foundations of our nation’s spiritual heritage broken down and threatened. How are we to cope without shrinking away into our faith with fear?
Here are three exhortations that I pray will keep you grounded, joyful and hopeful in a quickly-dimming world…. more
Few will forget the graphic images of the mass beheadings of 21 men in a video ISIS released and paraded online around the world. After a three-year wait, the families of these 21 martyrs have finally received their loved ones’ remains–a homecoming they had hoped for but never thought they would see.
“I feel a sense of pride and joy now that they [the bodies] returned to us,” said Fifi Maged Suliman Shehata, the daughter of martyred Christian Maged Suliman Shehata. “None of us could imagine that their bodies would come one day; we had lost the hope of their return. But God is good, and we thank Him so much for their return. It is a great blessing for all of us.”… more
Incredible video footage has emerged of a Sheriff’s deputy saving the life of a young child after he suddenly stopped breathing while in the back of his mother’s car.
Dashcam footage from Florida’s K9 Deputy Jeremie Nix’s police cruiser caught the moment white sedan pulled over to the side of the road and the boy’s mother leapt out of the car screaming that her son was unresponsive. The baby’s traumatized mother Nechole Crowell quickly flagged down Deputy Nix, who sprinted to help administer first aid to the young child.
Despite the life-saving measures taken by this brave officer, he noticed that the child, Kingston, was not improving. Immediately, he sped off to the nearby Ocala Regional Medical Center to seek further treatment for the gravely sick kid.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office shared some wonderful updates about baby King’s medical condition following the officer’s heroics…. watch the video, wow!
Thank you Lord you gave him what he needed, you brought him at the right time and everything was within arms reach when the child stopped breathing, wow! It’s amazing to watch you work Lord! Thank you for being a good loving Father, always there even though it might not seem so.
A plan pending in the California legislature that promoters say is necessary so people with same-sex inclinations don’t hear messages challenging them has now gotten the attention of Gov. Mike Huckabee.
In a message to supporters he says the proposal, AB 2943, on which WND has reported multiple times, is “a terrible storm that’s brewing on the horizon.”
It would ban counseling, conferences and even printed materials that advocate for ways to get rid of unwanted same-sex attractions, and several experts have not only confirmed the vaguely written proposal could ban sales of Bibles, but one ministry expert has announced plans to boycott the state with his conferences.
“You may have heard the news or seen the reports, but people of faith in California are bracing for one of the most dramatic ideological shifts away from the First Amendment in our nation’s history,” Huckabee said. “It’s the kind of storm that destroys the foundations of liberty and a free society.”… more
