Atheist Activist Group Wants Courthouse Scripture Mural Removed

FINDLAY, Ohio — One of the nation’s most conspicuous professing atheist activist organizations has sent a letter to the clerk of the Findlay, Ohio municipal court to claim that a displayed mural referencing Psalm 91 violates the U.S. Constitution.

The Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) says that it was contacted by a “concerned citizen,” who advised that a large mural in the courthouse features artwork of an eagle and the phrase, “Under His wings shall you find refuge—Psalms 91.”

School Mass Shootings and Why They Are Really Happening

I was making dinner one afternoon in the fall of 1987, when I heard a frantic knocking at my door. It was my son’s teacher – I had just seen her earlier that day while volunteering in the classroom.

I opened the door and I could see that she had been crying.  She was shaking as she told me that the father of a boy in their class had been in a horrible car accident and they didn’t know whether he would survive. She told me that this little boy’s mother had abandoned him and his dad years before.

What she said next shook me to my core. She told me that she wanted to pray with the children for the boy’s dad but that she knew that she could lose her job  for doing that…. more

She spoke what was in our hearts concerning taking God out and people blaming God. What happened in Florida is very sad indeed but hardly anyone is connecting the dots of you cannot serve two masters.

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

We allowed one or two people to make decisions for our nation!!!! Now is the time to stand in the Lord and allow Him to work through us. I am your humble slave!!!!!!!!!!!

Slave: The Hidden Truth About Your Identity in Christ (Study Guide Included)The most profound reality for every believer is a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is our Savior, our teacher, and our friend. But the Bible teaches that at the most basic level Jesus is our Lord, our Master, which means we are His slaves…. more

School Shootings: The Real Question

From Broward County, Florida, comes news of yet another school shooting. Politicians and members of the media immediately began asking how such tragedies can be averted. They focused on the usual things. How do we keep weapons out of the hands of dangerous individuals, and how do we spot signs that a person might be a potential mass shooter?

Those are important, but they don’t address the real question, and that is, “Why?”

After interviewing the suspect, reading his social media posts, and talking with people who know him, the police will tell us what they believe motivated him. But the question of why will not be answered by finding the specific motive of a specific shooter. Specific motives for seemingly insane acts don’t usually tell the real story…. more

Human Trafficking Depends on the Abortion Industry to Keep Going. Here’s How

t’s the second largest crime industry in the world, next only to illegal drugs. And it depends upon the abortion industry to keep its illicit machinery functioning at maximum capacity.

We’re talking about human sex trafficking. Chances are you’ve encountered multiple victims without even knowing it. They are all around you. So are the perpetrators.

As are the “buyers” commonly known as johns.

Like any criminal activity, human trafficking is driven by money. According to Nita Belles with Oregonians Against Trafficking Humans, if a trafficker has three girls, he can make approximately $650,000 a year. New Bill Would Allow Public High School Coaches to Pray With Students in Georgia

A lawmaker in Georgia has introduced legislation that would effectively allow high school football coaches and other public school officials in the state who want to participate in a student-led and initiated prayer to do so.

After headlines were made last year when East Coweta High School football coach John Small was told by the school district that he could not engage in prayer with his team before games, State Sen. Michael Williams introduced Senate Bill 361 on Tuesday in an attempt to give Small and other coaches such a right.

The bill, titled the “Coach Small Religious Protection Act,” would take effect in the 2018-2019 school year and would amend state law relating to elementary and secondary education to provide “freedom of religious expression by faculty and employees of public schools while fulfilling the duties of their jobs.”… more
