Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
What happens when people as a society begin to call evil good and good evil? It leaves Christians with two choices, stand in the truth of God or exchange the truth for the lies of Satan and change our views about God. God’s word never changes because it is infallible (Numbers 23:19). Because of this, His Word will come to pass and the opinions of man will have no influence. As a Christian, whom will you choose to serve when the violence and persecution begins where you are, that is already in full play elsewhere (Joshua 24:15).
The push to turn from living a life of godly righteousness is here and the time for straddling the fence is gone. Battle lines are being drawn and it will be the displacement of good to evil and evil to good that is going to flush out those who are lukewarm. This is no surprise to God. Jesus said, He will “spew” the lukewarm out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16). There will be no more secret Christians.<!–more–>
