Ephesians 6:15 ESV and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Briefly the gospel of peace means – The gospel – literally, “God’s good news”. The Gospel includes the entire Bible, i.e. it is not limited to how a person becomes a Christian.
Peace – “to join, tie together into a whole” – properly wholeness, i.e. when all essential parts are joined together; peace (God’s gift of wholeness). (Both from HELPS Word-studies)
According to the definition, the Gospel of peace ties us to God through Christ Jesus (the Gospel of Peace) which means all believers were at one time separated from God and not at peace with God.
